Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer - A rare and agressive cancer also known as bile duct

Cholangiocarcinoma is rare and extremely aggressive. It is also known as bile duct cancer and it may cause high levels of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and CA19-9 in the blood. Fewer than 10% of patients survive five years after diagnosis. Survival is even lower for patients diagnosed at a metastatic stage.
